Applications
When used with matching flux, this welding wire is suitable for welding austenitic stainless steels such as X6CrNiNb18-10 (1.4550) and similar niobium-stabilized grades. Common applications include food and medical equipment, pressure vessels, and the petrochemical industry.
Characteristics
Niobium-stabilized 19Cr-10Ni austenitic stainless steel submerged arc welding wire. It exhibits excellent welding processability, produces aesthetically pleasing welds, and demonstrates good crack resistance. The addition of niobium effectively improves corrosion resistance, particularly resistance to intergranular corrosion.
