Product Details
Application: Applicable to the welding of mild steel, low-carbon steel, and 490MPa grade carbon steel structures, widely used in shipbuilding, boiler manufacturing, pressure vessels, pipelines, and general steel structure fabrication requiring high-quality welds.
Characteristics: ER70S-2 is a solid carbon steel MIG welding wire with ultra-low carbon and impurity content, featuring excellent weldability, stable arc, extremely low spatter, easy slag removal, and smooth weld bead appearance. It offers outstanding all-position welding performance, and the deposited metal has excellent low-temperature toughness, high ductility, and superior crack resistance, especially suitable for critical structural welding.

Note On Usage:
1.Apply mixed gas shield (Ar 80% + CO₂ 20%) or pure CO₂ gas shield; CO₂ gas purity is above 99.5%.
2.The CO₂ shield gas flow during welding should be controlled between 15~25L/min.
3.The extension elongation of welding wire should be controlled between 10~20mm.
4.Preheat and interpass temperature are generally not required for thin plates; for thick plates (>20mm), preheat to 100-150℃ if necessary.
